Glazed Oatmeal Maple-Pecan Scones

Follow the recipe for Oatmeal scones, toasting 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans along with the oats, whisking 1/4 cup maple syrup into the egg-milk mixture (before removing 1 TB for for brushing the scones), and omitting the sugar. when the scones are cool, whisk 3 TB maple syrup and 1/4 cup powdered sugar in a bowl until combined; drizzle the glaze over the scones.
